Who can apply?

  • Rising sophomores through seniors, and must be 15 years of age (or older)

What will they learn?

  • Sophisticated theory + practical experience in cutting-edge technologies

Data Science Fundamentals, Syracuse University, Syracuse, New York (online program)


Who can apply?

  • Rising high school sophomores, juniors, or seniors

What will they learn?

  • Fundamentals for organizing, managing, curating, preserving, and using data

  • Key concepts related to data science, including applied statistics, information visualization, text mining, and machine learning using “R”, an open-source analytical and visualization system.

  • Rising high school juniors or seniors, who have passed Algebra 1 and Geometry

What will they learn?

  • Highly visual, non-mathematical introduction to computer programming and animation
