ABOUT US
The college admissions process can feel overwhelming, and for good reason. It is more competitive, more complex, and can feel more consequential than ever before. At PD Admissions Consulting, we calm chaos, build the roadmap, and walk every step of it with you until your student is holding an acceptance letter from a college they genuinely cannot wait to call home.
We are intentionally boutique because we believe that the best guidance is deeply personal. The families who thrive with us are the ones who want a true partner in this process, someone who is fully invested in their student from day one.
We work with students locally (Bellevue, Seattle, Kirkland, Redmond, and Sammamish) as well as with families around the world. Our approach is distinctive, driven by data, and built around one belief: every student has a story worth telling, and with the right guidance, that story can open doors to extraordinary places.
Our students have achieved a 100% success rate, with 85% gaining admission to the top 25 universities. We are proud of those numbers. We are even prouder of the students behind them.

MEET OUR FOUNDER AND DIRECTOR, POOJHA DARYANANI
Poojha has spent 23 years in college admissions, and that wealth of experience powers every recommendation she makes, every strategy she builds, and every step she takes alongside her students and families.
A graduate of the Yale School of Management, Poojha also served on Yale's Admissions Team. She will tell you that experience changed everything. It taught her firsthand how admissions decisions are actually made, what a strong application looks like from the inside, and what it truly takes to stand out in one of the most competitive applicant pools in the world. It also gave her a mission: to bring that knowledge directly to the families who need it most.
That is what led her to become a College Admissions Advisor.
More recently, Poojha served as an Admissions Reader at the University of Washington, Seattle, where she reviewed hundreds of applications from students across the region. She has also served as a High School Counselor at a private IB school in Redmond, Washington, an experience that deepened her understanding of how things work on the high school side: how to navigate the school environment, and how early decisions, from course selection to extracurriculars, ripple all the way through to a college application.
Poojha is also a certified Strong Interest Inventory specialist, bringing research-backed career assessment tools to her work with students, helping them identify which career paths are the best fit for who they are. That clarity is often the first step and the foundation on which everything else is built.
Her expertise spans the globe. She has worked with students across the US, India, China, Thailand, Singapore, Indonesia, Canada, and South America, and her work has been featured in the New York Times, the Times of India, and Business World. She presents regularly at schools and conferences and is a proud member of the National Association for College Admission Counseling (NACAC), the Independent Educational Consultants Association (IECA), and the Seattle Area College Counselors (SACC). She makes it a priority to visit college campuses and meet with admissions representatives throughout the year, ensuring her families always have access to the most current and accurate information available.
And on a more personal note: as the mom of an 18-year-old and a 14-year-old, Poojha is living this process daily alongside the families she works with. She knows what keeps families up at night during this process, because some nights, it keeps her up too. That combination of deep expertise and genuine empathy is at the heart of everything she does.
If you are ready to give your student the kind of guidance that comes from decades of hard-earned experience, a 360-degree understanding of this process, and someone who will root for your student as fiercely as you do, Poojha would love to connect.
